SUMMARY:A Roadmap to Reporting on the New URAR (CE) - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:The redesigned Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR)\, built on the UAD 3.6 standard\, is now fully in production as of January 26\, 2026—making adoption a requirement for today’s appraisers. This course provides a clear\, practical introduction to the new dynamic reporting framework and prepares appraisers to produce compliant\, data‑rich reports that meet modern lender and regulatory expectations. \nLearners will explore how the traditional static forms have been replaced with a flexible\, property‑driven structure; how machine‑readable\, MISMO‑aligned data improves accuracy and review efficiency; and how integrated photos\, commentary\, and APIs streamline workflow and reduce addenda. The course highlights what these changes mean for appraisers\, lenders\, and the broader industry\, emphasizing improved consistency\, faster reviews\, and stronger risk assessment. \nBy the end\, participants will understand the redesigned URAR’s requirements and be equipped to deliver high‑quality reports in the UAD 3.6 environment. \nVirtual (Online)\, 4 hours\, Appraiser CE \nThank you to Champions School of Real Estate.

SUMMARY:Scope of Work and the New URAR (CE) - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:The new dynamic URAR is the result of a joint effort between Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the GSEs).  This represents the most significant overhaul of the mortgage lending appraisal requirements in 20 years. The new URAR is a true “uniform” report\, in that it is intended for many different property types (detached dwellings\, co-ops\, condos\, manufactured homes\, 2-4 unit dwellings) and it incorporates the appraisal requirements for both the private sector (the GSEs) and the government (FHA\, USDA\, VA). \nThis course is intended to supplement the 7-hour URAR training course that was produced by the GSEs.  It takes a deep-dive into the scope of work for a GSE appraisal\, particularly information that must be gathered and reported that is different than what had previously been required. \nVirtual (Online)\, 4 hours\, Appraiser CE \nThank you to McKissock Learning.

SUMMARY:Appraising for Private Clients: Expanding to Non-Lending Appraisals (CE) 2 days - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:“Appraising for Private Clients” walks appraisers through the possibilities and requirements of non-lender appraisal work\, including tax rebuttal\, pre-purchase\, prelisting\, divorce\, estate\, and IRS-related work. Students explore the components necessary for private appraisal work\, including development steps\, assignment conditions\, and expectations of reporting. USPAP is examined as the minimum foundation for the development and reporting of the appraisals\, and students learn the assignment conditions and client requirements that are unique to various types (intended uses) of private appraisal work. Quality control is also emphasized\, to ensure the best work product and reduce errors of omission and commission. General requirements are presented\, applicable to most or all appraisal types; specific needs of various types of work are also emphasized throughout units in the course. \nThe course ensures appraisers are exposed to the whole experience: the first discussion with the client to understand the intended use\, additional client discussions to collect necessary assignment elements\, the inspection\, and the unique aspects of the development and reporting steps for various private appraisal types\, such as extraordinary assumptions\, effective dates\, and other nuances of private appraisal work. The appraiser student will examine how an engagement letter\, appropriate for collecting the required assignment elements\, proactively avoids pitfalls often associated with private work. From a technical standpoint\, appraisers will leave the course having a better understanding of techniques characteristic of strong appraisal work\, the varying level of detail for different types of appraisals based on the intended use\, as well as how to strengthen their appraisal writing processes for any appraisal. \nThis is a TWO-DAY class on May 26 and 27\, 2026. Click the website link for details. \nVirtual (Online)\, 7 hours\, Appraiser CE \nThank you to Appraiser eLearning.
