SUMMARY:Supporting Adjustments and Reporting the Sales Comparison Approach in the New URAR (CE) - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:The new Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) challenges appraisers to deliver a report in a confident manner to clients with a credible analysis that meets the minimum reporting requirements of the Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs). The new URAR requires that support for adjustments be included directly in the appraisal report\, so residential practitioners need to understand the expectations of the GSEs and underwriters around these topics. Supporting Adjustments and Reporting the Sales Comparison Approach in the New URAR is a three-hour program that focuses on an effective manner of developing and supporting the sales comparison approach section of the new URAR. Case studies will represent real-world residential appraisal valuation problems and the multiple qualitative and quantitative ways that each of the major adjustments in a residential sales grid can be supported. Since the applicable and appropriate techniques for any specific adjustment usually produce some variation in the indicated contributory value\, the art and science of reconciliation will also be emphasized through repeated application. The program will be valuable for residential appraisers to strengthen their proficiency in both the sales comparison approach and in supporting the adjustments used in the sales grid. The program will also be valuable for reviewers of residential reports. \nVirtual (Online)\, 4 hours\, Appraiser CE \nThank you to the Appraisal Institute Colorado Chapter.

SUMMARY:A Roadmap to Reporting on the New URAR (4-hour CE) - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:The redesigned Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR)\, built on the UAD 3.6 standard\, is now fully in production as of January 26\, 2026—making adoption a requirement for today’s appraisers. This course provides a clear\, practical introduction to the new dynamic reporting framework and prepares appraisers to produce compliant\, data‑rich reports that meet modern lender and regulatory expectations. \nLearners will explore how the traditional static forms have been replaced with a flexible\, property‑driven structure; how machine‑readable\, MISMO‑aligned data improves accuracy and review efficiency; and how integrated photos\, commentary\, and APIs streamline workflow and reduce addenda. The course highlights what these changes mean for appraisers\, lenders\, and the broader industry\, emphasizing improved consistency\, faster reviews\, and stronger risk assessment. \nBy the end\, participants will understand the redesigned URAR’s requirements and be equipped to deliver high‑quality reports in the UAD 3.6 environment. \nVirtual (Online) 4-hours\, Appraiser CE. \nThank you to Champions School of Real Estate

SUMMARY:Reporting Market Analysis and Better Understanding the New URAR (CE) - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:The new Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) challenges appraisers to deliver a report in a confident manner to clients with a credible analysis that meets the minimum reporting requirements of the Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs). Unlike the existing 1004 report form\, the new URAR places more emphasis on supporting and reporting a thorough market analysis for the subject property. In the past\, appraisers often kept the market analysis support in the workfile. Going forward\, support is expected within the appraisal report. Reporting Market Analysis and Better Understanding the New URAR is a four-hour program that focuses on lending assignments for residential properties using the new URAR. Appraisers who are not well versed in completing a thorough and credible market analysis will find this program to be most helpful. The program will also be a good refresher for the experienced appraiser and the reviewer of residential reports. \nVirtual (Online)\, 4 hours\, Appraiser CE \nThank you to the Appraisal Institute Colorado Chapter.

SUMMARY:Residential Leasehold Playbook (non-CE) - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a practical\, step-by-step playbook for valuing leasehold interests—a deep dive into standard residential ground leases\, with an overview of other lease types. You’ll start by getting crystal clear on property rights (leasehold vs. leased fee vs. fee simple) and why the “rights appraised” drive both value and comparable selection. From there\, we walk through the real-world requirements that apply to Fannie Mae\, Freddie Mac\, and FHA\, including minimum terms\, key clauses\, and required reporting components. \nThe heart of the course is valuation methodology: how to select comps using a consistent process and how to support property rights adjustments using matched-pair logic and income-based techniques. We’ll cover value approaches\, hypothetical conditions\, and how to produce a report that is both compliant and easy for the user to follow. \nCase studies tie everything together—so you can apply the concepts and methods to your work immediately. You’ll leave with job aids for methods\, reference materials\, and a clear set of best practices to reduce revision requests and help you sign leasehold appraisal reports with confidence. \nThis seminar presentation is not a solicitation for vendors to join panels and Walitt Solutions does not maintain or solicit vendor panels or provide appraisal management services. However\, participants who complete the training have an opportunity to share their completion certificates with the sponsors. \nWith time for questions at the end\, this training is anticipated to last 4 hours. \nVirtual (Online)\, 4 hours\, non-CE \nMade possible by Cedar Innovations\, R3 AMC\, and Banks Technologies.
